The city of Patna was beefed up for Christmas during the year 2019 and like every year, shops and stores were geared up for welcoming the dawn of the new season. I wanted to capture what was special for the year unlike other seasons. Visiting through sweet shops and confectioners, I could see visitors making purchases of cakes, Christmas candles, gifts and items of decoration from their favourite shops. Interacting with shopkeepers and owners, Christmas pudding and cakes made of dry fruits and cream jellies were a popular choice among customers. People made huge purchases of fruit, jelly and plum cakes for Christmas.
